The original picture was offered for sale in 1852, and has since been lost sight of. The Corsini copy is on wood, i 12x0-89 = 3 ft. 8 X2.ii [No. 159], and it would seem that the Virgin's 94 CATALOGUE OF WORKS head was from the same model as that of St. Catherine in the Pitti, No. 123.
